Brooks has provided an affordable and reliable transportation service to routes that not many people cover. There is also the added bonus of being able to make as many stops as you want enroute to your destination.
My family and I were on vacation and required transportation to a few places in Alaska. We ended up booking three trips with Brooks. His service made planning less stressful because I did not want to worry about high car rental costs and unfamiliar roads. **AK Tripping is beyond excellent !! On our first trip to Alaska we discovered AK Tripping by googling to provide my Mom and I with transportation from the Cruise Port in Seward to The Alyeska Resort in Girdwood and then 2 days later from Girdwood to the Airport in Anchorage. The transportation was so much more than just a way to get from point A to B. Brooks was not only our driver but also our personal tour guide. He inquired as to our interests and tailored the trip just for us. He knew all the best stops for photos and yes, bathroom breaks too !! He even took us to a wildlife sanctuary and to a Bakery with yummy pastries !! He also shared interesting stories of his own about life in Alaska !! If you are looking for transportation with a personal touch at a reasonable rate we highly recommend AK Tripping !!**
**We couldn't have been more fortunate to find, and have, AK Tripping services available to us during our Alaskan adventure vacation. Quickly into our planning we realized the logistical nightmare that exists in commuting options between Anchorage and Seward (among other places) outside of the scheduled buses or trains. Renting a car one-way is impossible! And while you can choose to book an Uber, it is doubtful a driver is picking up that fare and route without prior notice. Queue AK Tripping. Brooks has tapped into an area of the market so very needed. By booking a trip with AK Tripping we had a dedicated driver, familiar with the roads, traffic, weather conditions, and landscape to tour us down the route, at our own pace, able to stop at any scenic photo-opportunities that we chose. The ride was spacious, accessible to wi-fi, full air controls, all the comfort and conveniences one could ask for. Brooks himself is kind, polite, engaging, and accommodating. This is a very necessary service and given all the traveling we did through and across Alaska over this trip, I would strongly recommend this choice of transportation for similar commuting needs. I understand his services extend in multiple directions to and from Anchorage and the surrounding and beautiful locations Alaska has to offer. **Brooks was incredibly helpful, insightful, and accommodating during our trip using AK Tripping. Not only did Brooks include full service transportation all over the area of Anchorage to Girdwood, but he was incredibly helpful providing recommendations on what to do and what to expect. He has 30 years of experience in the area that allows him to provide trusted information on anything from beautiful hikes to good places to grab a bite to eat. Definitely worth the money rather than renting a car or ubering constantly**
**We booked a ride to Knicks Lodge to go to helicopter tour with Alaskan Tripping and Brooks was amazing!!! Great communication, very pleasant, punctual and also he took a video of us taking off and landing , which was super sweet. **Let me start off by saying that this ride service got me out of two jams. When every other travel option I had cancelled or hadn't updated their hours they were there. On time, patient, willing to make accomodations and most of all truly kind. The fact that the driver went out of their way twice just to be helpful should speak volumes. On another note, the vehicle was comfortable, you get access to Spotify, refreshments, a knowledgeable driver. So far I have used the service twice and will again in the future. I love the guys business model and professional yet personable attitude. Touring, Costco runs, or any trip in general at a fair and honest price point.**
** Traveling with Brooks was such a pleasure. From original inquiry to drop off, Brooks was friendly, helpful, accommodating, educational and entertaining. His local knowledge of the area ensured I arrived to my destinations on time and taught me so much about the area. Weather conditions were not the best, snowing and icy, so we didn't get to make any stops along the way, but I felt totally safe in brooks' experienced hands. Transportation is a big barrier in visiting this gorgeous place, and Brooks made it easy and fun. Was great to have so much space and comfort in the back as well as chilled beverages on demand. Will definitely utilize his services again when I return
**We had one day free in Anchorage, and wanted to get out of the city to see some of the magnificent countryside in February. We were able to schedule Brooks and agree on an itinerary just a couple of days in advance. He proved to be an excellent guide and skilled driver. Plus being an interesting guy to talk with. We would gladly schedule another trip with him.
**Tried to book a trip from anchorage to seward but was fully booked on the day I wanted. Brooks was very quick to respond via email, gave me alternative dates, and options. Even willing to consider driving late in the evening to accomodate us. Unfortunately our schedule was really tight and travelling with kids would be difficult. Hoping to schedule a trip with them in the future. If he can provide this quality of customer service with inquiries, Im certain the actual trip would be above and beyond.
